Comedian BIG Funny aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. What we have done, known limitations and how to tell us about a barrier on the site.

We want everyone to be able to enjoy BIG Funny's comedy. Comedian BIG Funny (comedianbigfunny.com) is operated by LAB Information Technology Incorporated (LABUSA) on behalf of Dwayne Hix, who performs as Comedian BIG Funny. We aim for the Comedian BIG Funny website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

What we have done

  • The site can be used with a keyboard alone. A "Skip to main content" link appears as the first stop when you press Tab, and every link, button and form field shows a clearly visible focus outline, including the date fields and their calendar buttons.
  • Each page has one main heading and labeled navigation and content regions, so screen reader users can move around the page quickly.
  • Every field on the booking inquiry form has a label that is read aloud by screen readers.
  • Images have text descriptions, and decorative icons are hidden from screen readers.
  • Each video link names the video and says that it opens YouTube in a new tab.
  • The site works on phones, tablets and computers, at widths down to 320 pixels, without sideways scrolling.
  • If your device is set to reduce motion, the site turns off its scrolling animations.

Known limitations

  • Our videos play on YouTube, and captions depend on what YouTube provides for each video.
  • We have not yet completed a full review with screen readers. We test the site regularly and fix problems as we find them.
